i need to know if that is alright to be on ssdi and applying for unemployment for a part time job i just got laid off of or is that not allowed. dunno.

I could not find a prohibition regarding receiving both Social Security disability payments and unemployment benefits.
I assume that you were working while receiving disability payments under the "Ticket to Work" or similar program.
As you may know, if you work while receiving disability payments, you should tell the SSA if you take a job or become self-employed, no matter how little you earn. If you are still disabled, you will be eligible for a trial work period, and you can continue receiving benefits for up to nine months.
