Mothers Maiden name

I would like to know if taking your mother's maiden last name out of your social and driver license, consider a name changed. The reason I asking is because I became a U.S citizen about two years ago and In my passport and certificate I have only my first last name but in my license I have both my first and mother maiden last name like most hispanics not born here. I want to change it and take out my mothers maiden out of my DL, Im currently a police cadet and Im applying and I dont want any problems with my name coming up as a diferrent person if I change it. Will it be consider a name changed if take it out of my DL and social? I've been using my first last name for everything my whole life.
Thanks

It's not clear what the question is. It sounds like you'd like to remove your mother's maiden name from your "full name".

This makes it sound as if your mother's maiden name is a sort of "middle name".
