There are a few points to consider here. First, I have never seen a requirement that the beneficiary and representative payee need to live in the same state. It is, however, best to confirm this with the SSA.

Second, the representative payee (and you, as an SSI beneficiary) must report your move to the SSA.

Third, SSI payments can vary from state to state. This may complicate or change things a bit.
