904. What types of farm work are considered agricultural labor?
If you do agricultural labor on a farm, your services are covered by Social Security if your work is performed in connection with:

Cultivating the soil; or
-
Raising or harvesting any agricultural or horticultural commodity (this includes the raising, shearing, feeding, caring for, training and/or management of livestock, bees, poultry, and fur-bearing animals and wildlife).
