Remarried and Medicare.

My mom married very early in age and was married to my farther for 19years. She is remarried but does not have enough points to get Medicare on her own. Her husband now isn't of age for her to get Medicare from him. Can she get it from my farther?

Yes, this is likely depending on the age of your mother and your father is at least age 62.

You are eligible at 65 if you would be entitled to Social Security benefits based on your spouse's (or divorced spouse's) work record, and that spouse is at least 62 (your spouse does not have to apply for benefits in order for you to be eligible based on your spouse's work).

Contact Social Security for your specific case.
