my husband gets SSI the only problem is we have two little girls and i only have a part time job its almost impossible to make it with out the help of my parents cannot even get our our home. is there and way to make more from his SSI if he were on permanent disability?

It's possible the SSDI benefit may be higher than the SSI benefit. However, your husband will need to have a long enough work record to qualify for SSDI benefits.
