I recently applied for my child's survivor benefits. The child is eligible for benefits based on an acquiescence ruling.
The adjudicator was not aware of ruling, confused and not friendly.
Do I trust that more than one person looks at the claim and claim gets processed correctly?

ps I did call to check status and it is going to take longer than the 30-45 days promised. Clerk told me my child is being "added to the record"
what does that mean?
