Does receiving a taxfree stipend through the Adult Family/Foster Care program (funded by Medicaid in Massachusetts) affect SSI benefits?
Does anyone have any idea?
Effect of Medicaid Adult Family Care on SSI
I'm not too familiar with this program, but it's likely that any funds from this Family Care will not be counted as "income" by SSI.
Per the SSA, "assistance based on need funded by a State or local government" is not counted as income for SSI purposes.
