Next month I am going to be 30. I was diagnosed with severe migraines when I was 13 and they have prevented me from having any type of normal life as well as maintaining a stable job. When I was 22 I finally sought help from Social Security and only qualified for SSI. In the past year I attempted to return to work twice unsuccessfully as well as take 1 online course.
Every day that I continue to live at home with my parents our relationship deteriorates. They want to treat me like a child and I want to live my life. My migraines prevent me from working and having much of a social life. Living with my parents seals the deal on a social life. To make matters more unpleasant they have decided to move to another state. I do not want to move with them. I shouldn't have to. SSI doesn't give me enough to pay for an apartment let alone utilities and food. I am at my wits end!
Who/where do I turn for help? Is there help? I live in PA and I do not know what to do. I fear there are no housing programs or anything to help me. Does anyone know or have ideas on what I can do?
Thank You
