My husband and I were in the Social Security office Monroe, Mi this morning and I have to say I was very uncomfortable how this was handled. We were both asked for our social security numbers. My husband said his but I asked to write this down. My husband was asked at the beginning of the interview and also towards the end for his number which he said aloud. We were having this interview about 10 feet from the waiting room, at window B, and as we left, the waiting room had about 10 people there. With the increase in identy theft, this is concerning to me.Discretion is needed.
