I'm not sure what you're driving at, but if you need proof that you are receiving income and/or services from Social Security, you can request a "Proof of Income" letter at this web site. This is sometimes called a "budget letter," a "benefits letter," or a "proof of award letter."
You can request such a letter online via this link :

If you expect to be hospitalized for a lengthy period, please notify the SSA.
A Supplemental Security Income recipient must report any change of address by calling our toll-free number, 1-800-772-1213, or by visiting a local office within 10 days after the month the change occurs. You cannot complete a change of address online because the SSA must find out if there has also been a change in your living arrangement. An unreported living arrangement change could result in an incorrect payment. Failure to report or filing false reports could result in a fine, imprisonment, or both. Also, you need to report your new address to Social Security so that you can continue to receive mail from Social Security when necessary, even if you receive your benefits by direct deposit.

If you receive SSI, there generally are requirements to report changes in your income or assets.
If you receive Social Security disability benefits (based on your work record), you need to report a number of items (ex. if you start working), but changes in your spouse's income is not in the list.

If deemed disabled, you will have to wait six months to get a check. You should apply for disability as soon as you become disabled. It can take a long time to process an application for disability benefits (three to five months).
If your application is approved, your first Social Security disability benefits will be paid for the sixth full month after the date your disability began.
For example, if the state agency decides your disability began on January 15, your first disability benefit will be paid for the month of July. However, Social Security benefits are paid in the month following the month for which they are due, so you will receive your July benefit in August.

moving to the state of texas
what is the protocol for moving out of state. will my benefits decrease or increase...
Time to process initial Social Security Disability claims
I saw one figure that set the average processing time for initial disability claims at 132 days for fiscal year 2010, and 141 days for FY 2011.

Effect of moving on disability benefits
You should contact the SSA for your particular case.
At a minimum, tell the SSA your new address and phone number as soon as you know them.
Also, if you receive a disability benefit under a state, or local plan (ex. worker's comp or even SSI) your benefit may be affected.
