why i don't get ssi supplement
i have been on ss disability for about 7 years and i only draw 624.00 a month and have bills to pay and i don't draw enough to even have my own place my case work at dhs office said for me to contact ss office and find out why i wasn't get some supplement income to help me. i got one check from ssi for 450.00 when i first got my ss disablity approved. i would like to know if i am eligible to draw some ssi and if not, i would like to know why. i have worked 40 or more years of my life and there are people out there who haven't worked a day in their life drawing more money then me. could you please give me some answers. thank you
