800 number to call the Texas social security office
Just FYI - the toll free number which you have posted for the Dallas Social Security office on N. Centrl Expressway can not be accessed if you live in Texas. Makes sense to me - how stupid is that. When you call the number the recording says - this number can not be accessed by your location. Just so happens I live in Texas and that's why I need to call the social security office NEAREST my home.

I agree, why post the 800 number for the local Dallas office. Calling the 800 number is almost like waiting to die.SocialSecurityHop.com may not be affiliated with the US government but it just as bad as the red tape in the US government. For Gods sake give us a number that we can call our local office.
