You can do things like signup for Medicare online at ssa.gov. Physical distancing of at least 6 feet and masks are required. SSA will provide a mask if you do not have one. See if you can get an appointment by phone. Fridays may be less crowded.

Hours of operations
The hours of operations are ridiculous... really 9:00-3:30... how inconvenient...Good thing I get vacation days so I can use them to visit your office.. Very disgruntled..
Social Security office hours
Social Security office hours were cut back by 30 minutes in the last year. You could possibly file a complaint regarding this here :

I shouldnt have to take time off of my work day simply to come to your office. Do it like the DMV and have one day that your open til 7. I know most people that come to your office dont work and are there simply to rip off the government but I DO work and pay my taxes and this is the biggest pain in the butt. thanks for being so convenient social security office.
