Do the signature on the social security check have to be the same every time?

I'm not sure I understand the question. Ordinarily, I would assume the signature must be consistent.
Two "special cases" I can think of would be name changes and having a representative payee. Here's more information on those :

Social Security benefit recipients are encouraged to use Direct Deposit so funds are deposited directly in your bank with no need for a check.
