My ex husband was approved for social security disability. Owes back child support. He claims I am getting money from social security for my children, but have gotten or heard nothing. and that I am suppose to be getting checks every month for the children??

Yes, there's a good chance your children, as the biological children of a disability beneficiary, can receive payments on his work record. In this case, since you (apparently) have custody, you would likely be the "representative payee" who receives the benefit payments.
