Reapply SSI Benefit Again In Another City?

Hi,

My dad has applied SSI benefit in Anaheim City while he's under EDD disability for 9 months & notified SSI agent already. After 3 months processing, his SSI benefit approved but then got terminated immediately due to his EDD disability still active until Dec 2012. He were told to contact the SSI agent again when the EDD disability is discontinue or any change in the family. The SSI agent should of let us know that we cannot apply for SSI benefit if we still on EDD disability but now we are moving to City of Westminster end of Sept 2012 and notify the SSI agent of moving. Per SSI agent, we have to reapply the SSI benefit again if we are moving to another city. SSI cannot transfer the file in Anaheim city to Westminster city instead we have to fill out a very long application again?

The SSI agent has gave us a fault info at first. I cannot realized on the 2nd info again. Please, help... What should I do next for my dad after we moving to another city.

Do we have to start everything all over?
