Married in another country

I got married in March in Costa Rica and just got the certificate in the mail yesterday. I was wondering what information I need to bring to the SS office to prove that I got married to change my name. I only have the one certificate though and I know if I try to request more from Costa Rica it would be nearly impossible to receive.

I'd encourage you to contact your local Social Security office as this may be the easiest route for your state.
