Hi,
I am an au pair and will return to my home country tomorrow after only one week of work. What will happen now? Who do I have to tell this and will the card automatically be invalid?
Thank you in advance!

Social Security implications of returning to home country
We could not find much information on this, and we are not experts in this area.
Generally, the Department of Homeland Security should track entry and exit. Social Security works with DHS to issue Social Security numbers.
You shouldn't have to worry about someone else "taking" the Social Security number issued to you. Social Security numbers are not re-assigned.
