I am concerend that federal will take my stimulus. I have a letter from my Dr deferring my school loan because I became totally disabled after the the schooling. They took my last one cause I had an emergency while on an army base in TX and though I had total medical coverage they still took my stimulus. I am worried they will do it again. I have sent in and done all that has been required of me to settle these depts. can you tell me if I will get mine?

Stimulus payment and debt owed to the federal government
It depends on the nature of any loan you may have. The law requires the Department of the Treasury to deduct delinquent child support and debts owed to state and Federal agencies from the one-time payment. The one-time payment will not be used to collect Social Security or Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefit overpayments.
