My husband of 32 years died at age 55. I am working. Can I collect benefits when I turn 60, if I am still working?

Survivor benefits at age 60
Yes, if you qualify you can receive survivor benefits at age 60 (50 if disabled).
However, if you're still working, you may want to delay start of benefits for two reasons. First, the longer you delay initiation of benefits, the higher your monthly check. Second, if you work while getting Social Security survivors benefits and are younger than full retirement age, your benefits may be reduced if your earnings exceed certain limits.
