Right now I am 17 years old and receiving survivors benefits. Every month on the third I recieve my benefits. My birthday is February 28th. Since I turn 18 at the end of the month, and my benefits come on the third, will I still receive the benefits for February?
Child benefits and reaching age 18
I suspect you'll receive a benefit for February, but please check with the SSA for confirmation.
Please note the following on benefits for children age 18 and older :

I was recieving benefits when my father passed away once i got out of high school i stopped recieving it. I am now in college and have been for 1yr. Can i still recieve the survivors benefit since I am back in school?
Thank you
Survivor benefits while in college
You may want to confirm directly with the SSA, but this seems unlikely.
