I was dismissed from my job just before Thanksgiiving. Went in later and signed p for my retirement one year early and will receive a very small monthly payment starting January. Major retirement in PERS but even that is diminuative...together less than $25,000 annually. Can I apply for unemployment? Certainly am entitled. They didn't give me a reason for dismissal.

Unemployment benefits and Social Security retirement benefits
I'm not sure I understand the question. However, unemployment insurance benefits are not counted under the Social Security annual earnings test and therefore do not affect your receipt of Social Security benefits. However, the unemployment benefit amount of an individual may be reduced by the receipt of a pension or other retirement income, including Social Security and Railroad Retirement benefits.
You should contact your state unemployment office for information on how your state applies the reduction.
