Was married to my first husband for over 20 years, divorced, and drawing social security on him. he is now ill. What happens if he dies, do I still draw my social security on him?
Survivor benefits for ex-spouse
If you are the divorced spouse of a worker who dies, you could get benefits just the same as a widow or widower, provided that your marriage lasted 10 years or more.
