My Dad is coming to live legally here from Chile but he does receive a pension from Chile. My question is Will he still get his Chilean pension sent to the USA from Chile once he moved here? Does anybody knows this? . He is 80 years old He wants to see his grand kids.if he decide to become an American Citizen would he lose his pension from Chile? In general, I see no reason why your father can not receive his foreign pension. However, there are a couple things to consider. First, if he obtains a US Green Card, he may have to report a foreign bank account. Second, if he seeks assistance from agencies here, he may have to report the receipt of his foreign pension.
