Please help me! My baby is five years old, nearly six now. When I filled out the birth card, I mis-spelled my child's last name. My husband was furious, we nearly got divorced over it. When we got the social security card for my baby. I immediately filled out all the forms to make it right.
So her name should have been right. But we just a got a post card from the New York State Department that had her name spelled wrong on it. How do you make that go away? We already did the paperwork and it came back anyway! She's our child and we want her to inherit in the Will but the State Department did that, and my husband yelled so loud! I never heard him that way before! Never!
