My son receives SSI because he has Cerebral Palsy. When we initially applied for his benefits my husband and I were married. We were recently divorced and my son does not receive any support from his father. I submitted a copy of the Divorce Decree to the local SS office. Becuause there has been a reduction in the household income is it possible for my sons SSI to be increased?
Also can he collect on his father's benefits or mine now?
