I wanted to know if I will still be able to get SSI if I move from Kansas to Texas...and also I was told to ask if SS would help pay for my move??
Moving from Kansas to Texas - SSI status implications
Although SSI is a federal program, it is administered differently by various states. Both KS and TX are similar in that they pay and administer their own supplemental payments and you may contact the State for payment information.

I have not seen a program whereby SSI would pay for such a move.
