my daughter receives social security disability benefits for hearing impairment because we make too much money through the school year she receives nothing. during the summer months when i am laid off she receives some. How do I go about reinstating these services in the summer season.
Reinstate disability benefits with EXR program
If your benefits ended because you worked and had earnings, you can request that your benefits start again without having to complete a new application. While the SSA determines whether you can get benefits again, they can give you provisional (temporary) benefits for up to 6 months. This is called the "EXR" program.
Please contact your local Social Security office for this.
