Helping you return to work

After you start receiving disability benefits, you may want to try working again. There are special rules called "work incentives" that can help you keep your cash benefits and Medicare while you test your ability to work. For more information about the ways Social Security can help you return to work, ask for Working While Disabled - How We Can Help (Publication No. 05-10095). More detailed information about work incentives can be found in the Red Book (Publication No. 64-030). Also visit www.socialsecurity.gov/work .

My daughter is disabled and the case worker is recommending her to the GEI program. He said we need a form BP2Y to be obtained on line or at the social security office.

He suggested we print a copy on line then go to the local office since they often give the wrong form. He is proceeding to recommend her to the program based on the availability of the form.

I am unsuccessful after many attempts to obtain the form on line. where would I go on line to get a printable copy.

Thank you
Connie F
