Going over the allotted amount of income for a family of 3

Hello, My question is our child received Disability Benefits and has since the Child was diagnosed with Autism. Our familes income is about $3200. per month. SSI says we can make up to $3500 per month.

What happens if for (1 month only) we make a few dollars over the $3500 limit? Does my Autistic child loose the benifits? We are not that concernd with the small Check. But we are concerned with loosing out on the medical and medication that our child receives for free .

This would be a big problem for our house hold to pay for medication and Dr's visit . Can someone please reply. thanks

I haven't seen information for your particular case (parents working and caring for disabled child).

However, I do know that if an adult is disabled, and wants to start working, he can receive income while still receiving Medicare/Medicaid. See the following :
