Alimony and child support as reportable income for SSI
Recipients of SSI must report, among other things, personal income or the income of family members. Support and alimony payments are counted as reportable income.
There are other reporting requirements. For example, one must report if a child who is working or who is age 18 to 22 starts or stops attending school full time.
